These locations in Provo and Orem are some of my favorite places to photograph because they feature the beautiful mountains and nature of the area. Whether you love the mountains, greenery, or wide-open fields, you'll find plenty of beautiful options in Provo and Orem. Here are some of my favorite locations for photo sessions in the area!
Buffalo Peak
Located up Provo Canyon, this location features a gorgeous mountain backdrop, along with lush green grass. During the fall, the leaves change colors, making it the perfect fall or summer location.
Notes:
- This spot is located past a very bumpy dirt road. Vehicles should have 4 wheel drive. If necessary, we can meet up at the base and you can ride in my car!
- This location is extremely busy. Sunrise sessions are recommended to ensure parking and space to take photos.
- This location is only available in Summer and Fall.
Field up provo canyon
Located up Provo Canyon, this location also features a gorgeous mountain backdrop, along with grass. During the fall, the grass turns yellow and the leaves change colors, making it the perfect fall or summer location.
Notes:
- The walk to this spot is somewhat steep, so you may want to wear a change of shoes or clothes if wearing heels/wedding attire
- This location is only available in Spring, Summer and Fall.
Big Springs Park
Located up Provo Canyon, this location has a variety of beautiful spots for photos. There are trees that give a 'forest' look, but there is also a grassy, mountainous view. In the fall, the leaves change color for beautiful fall photos.

South fork park
Located up Provo Canyon, this location is perfect for those who want a 'forest' vibe. The dense trees and green hues bring a unique look to your gallery. This location is covered in snow in the winter, making it the perfect spot for snowy winter photos.

- This location is available year-round
- These photos are taken on film, which is why they look different from my digital work!
